That’s right, the dipshit behind #Twinks4Trump, Lucian Wintrich, is hosting an event with an all-star cast of racists, dipshits, and sewer trolls including Milo Yiannopoulos, Gavin McInnes, Martin Shkreli, David Angelo, Francis Legge, James O’Keefe, the Godesky Brothers, Jon Proby, Sebastian Sommer and, perhaps, a real life Nazi or two. Sounds like a great reason to leave town. Ugh. When will this nightmare of an election be over?!
The opening for #DaddyWillSaveUs will be held at 191 North, 14th Street, Brooklyn, New York October 8th starting at 8pm ET.
Headlining speakers and contributors for the opening include outspoken gay conservative Milo Yiannopoulos and Vice co-founder Gavin McInnes. Additional contributors include Martin Shkreli, James O’Keefe, the Godesky Brothers, Jon Proby, Sebastian Sommer, and more!!
“I think this exhibition will fight the dogma of a single accepted political ideology among artists and the creative class as a whole,” said Wintrich, the New York City resident behind Twinks4Trump.
Wintrich says, “MAGA (Make AmericaGreat Again) hats have become the new Campbell’s soup cans.”
Full, large format prints of Wintrich’s work will be available at silent auction at the exhibition, with 30% of proceeds doing to American Military Partner Association, the nation’s largest organization for the partners, spouses, and families of America’s LGBT service members.
Milo Yiannopoulos said of the event, “”Who knew that the way to be on the cutting edge of controversy in the art world would be to support Donald Trump. The LBGT community’s response to Lucian and his fellow artists is embarrassing. How can a movement dedicated to expression, pride, and diversity be so dead set against diversity of opinion?”
Gothamist spoke to the Wintrich about the event:
Wintrich told us that all the featured guests “are contributing art and will be attending, so far we are staying away from the speaker/soap box set up that is so worn thin with political events (although myself and Ali Akbar might introduce the event as a whole).” He added that there will be lots of mixed media, from paintings to performances to installations, to photographs (which of course include the “#Twinks4Trump” photo series)…A spokesperson for Pierogi, which still operates The Boiler gallery space after relocating to the Lower East Side this year, confirmed the event is scheduled for this Saturday, but stressed that the show is “not affiliated with The Boiler.”
