Next up on my list of out of town festivals is Something Wicked in Houston, TX. After traveling for Forecastle, I figured why not keep the “party down south” thing going? Besides, in Texas it’s festival weather year round. When I saw the opportunity, I broke out in the words of Matthew Mcconaughey, “Alright, Alright, Alright.”
Something Wicked (presented by Disco Donnie Presents and NightCulture) takes place at the Sam Houston Race Park Oct. 25-26th and packs a serious punch in terms of lineup. The headliners are hot: BassNectar and Dillon Francis on Saturday (initiate fangirl sequence NOW). Martin Garrix and Kaskade take the stage on Sunday. If that’s not enough to get you rearin’ up to go, they just dropped the rest of the lineup last week. Spoiler alert: it’s cray.
