It’s odd that such an iconic brand has chosen to open its New York location with an overrated pop star who we will all have forgotten about in six months. At least we can look forward to Television and Phosphorescent in coming days. That said, you better get there early if you want to see her.
Via Brooklyn Vegan:
The successful London mini-chain finally opens their first NYC store complete with a 250 capacity venue, a cafe run by Five Leaves, a recreation of Donald Glover’s bedroom in Community (no really), and over 20,000 records/CDs (and none of them used). Opening day performances include Sky Ferreira (free entry w/ CD purchase, line opens at 8 AM fyi) at 6:30 PM; and Charles Bradley (free, 9 PM).
