Since Halloween had us goin’ up on a Tuesday, I can only assume that most of you rolled into work like zombies today. If exhaustion alone didn’t have you dragging your feet like the undead, then the leftover costume make-up surely helped you achieve “the look”. Recovery is necessary, but it’s nothing that a good night’s sleep and a few cups (okay, liters) of coffee can’t fix.
Resist the temptation to retreat to your coffin. Brooklyn has plenty of parties to breath new life into your upcoming weekend. Remember, as long as the sun’s down, you’re safe. Take a warm blood bath tonight, and gear up for this week’s Club Crush picks.
1.) Hot Since 82 @ Output (Friday, November 3rd) – Experience tech house at its finest when British producer and DJ Awards winner, Hot Since 82, brings a steamy set to Output this Friday. Daley Padley is one of our favorites, so don’t miss the opportunity to see him set fire to the dance floor, with support from fellow Knee Deep in Sound label mate, Sean Miller. Get tickets HERE.
2.) Teksupport Presents Dirtybird Players Warehouse @ Undisclosed Brooklyn Warehouse (Friday, November 3rd) – Claude VonStroke, Shiba San, J. Phlip, Walker & Royce (our neighbors!), Fisher and a very special guest will bring their bubbly house sounds to a secret location this Friday. You’ll be flying high at this all-night rager featuring the DirtyBird labels best and brightest. Catch them here before DirtyBird launches their very first East Coast edition of the Dirtybird Campout. Just yesterday, organizers announced the phase 1 lineup (featuring Soul Clap, Wolf + Lamb, Just Blaze and other NYC-based sweethearts) and St. Cloud, FL location for their fun-filled outdoor event which is scheduled to take place February 2-4. 4.) Madeon @ Schimanski NYC (Saturday, November 4th) – Schimanski NYC’s bookings have been off the hook. His DJ sets never fail to disappoint so round up your friends for a tres magnifique evening of Brooklyn club-going. Get tickets HERE.
5.) Pink Mammoth Presents: SHINE @ House of Yes (Saturday, November 4th) – If you missed House of Yes’s “Playa inspired” City of Gods event in LIC last weekend, it’s okay.
