Grab your sash and tie up your roller skates, because our new favorite festival returns to Lakewood, PA over Memorial Day Weekend! Earlier today, the adult summer camp-themed music festival known as Elements Musical & Arts Festival Lakewood dropped an impressive electronic lineup including house, bass and techno’s biggest names. The lovable Brooklyn-based party makers of BangOn!NYC never fail to surprise us, and this second annual installment keeps with tradition.

Among the artists who will headline the three day camping event are Dirtybird Records label head Claude VonStroke, creator of  international Paradise series, Jamie Jones and techno visionary, Maceo Plex. Rising star Rezz and London-based trap producer TroyBoi head up a modest bass lineup, with SHPONGLE‘s Simon Posford serving something weirder for the psy-fans. From the playa to the Poconos, the entire Desert Hearts crew will be in tow to bring their good vibes and one-of-a-kind house beats to this legendary party. Of course BangOn!NYC’s growing list of resident DJs including Dirty Looks and The Golden Pony will be rocked and ready to keep shit bumpin’ til sunrise.

In addition to great tunes, campers can participate in a variety of activities including pirate ship rides, roller skating, performance art presentations, educational workshops and a full wellness series including yoga sessions, sound healing and more. As the wise Buddha one said: Get silly, get zen and then bask in true greatness. (It was him that said that, and not me … right?)

It’s easy to see how BangOn!NYC’s ever inclusive spirit has paved the way for the “anti-music festival”. Artists, guests and organizers exist on the same plane at these collaborative events. It’s not uncommon to catch Tiki Disco DJs gliding through the free disco roller rink or to see founder Brett Herman flying by on his golf cart conversing with fans. This is one party where everyone is invited, everyone is welcome and everyone gets to play. We immediately fell in love with Elements Lakewood, and we’re so excited to see what’s new to explore in 2018.

Festival passes are currently on sale starting at $180 for GA and $315 for VIP. For those of you who are less keen on “roughing it”, a number of premium lodging options are also available online including full private cabins ($1,800+), Bungalow Suites ($1,500+) and hostel-style beds ($225). Grab tickets and accommodations HERE.

If you can’t contain your excitement until May, I’ve got some good news! On Saturday, February 24th, BangOn!NYC and House of Yes are hosting Lakewood Warmup Sessions: Summer Camp, a sleep away camp-inspired soiree featuring artists from Elements Lakewood. Start planning your outfit (think Wet Hot American Summer or Moonrise Kingdom) and grab tickets for this epic pre-party HERE.
