Pressing on into these fresh new weekends of 2016, North Brooklyn stays strong with a plethora of parties to be had. Kicking off tonight, Good Room in Greenpoint goes full on with balearic beats provided by UK duo Psychemagik and a live techno set from acclaimed pianist Franseco Tristano. Down the street at Output, Detroit/FXHE’s FIT Siegel sets up shop with raw and inviting tracks played alongside locals Ital and Turtle Bugg. On Saturday, Black Flamingo gets it going on the south side with smooth disco jams courtesy of Recloose and Private Panther (and it’s free!). Later, head deeper east into Bushwick where NYC’s Willie Graff drops classic house in the warm and intimate Starvue space. Finally, cap off the entire night at Trans Pecos where Patricia, Mcferrdog, Bookworms, and more play a Words + Dreams 2 year anniversary party.
Have a great weekend!
