Earth. Fire. Wind. Water. Dope beats.
BangOn!NYC’s Elements Music & Art Festival is one that Captain Planet could get down with – not to mention anyone else who enjoys a good party. Last year’s debut was a big moment for BangOn!NYC, a group known for throwing some of the borough’s best alternative parties in uncharted venues from warehouses to supper clubs. The first ever Elements festival proved to be an immersive experience, bringing a Burning Man-esque atmosphere with music and art to the edge of the city. Just check out last year’s recap video, and you’ll see what I’m talking about.
This year the one-day, multi-stage event returns to the same Brooklyn Waterfront venue in Red Hook on Saturday, August 13th, with a lineup that is perhaps even more impressive than the last with mega names like electro-funk DJ and BK local Gramatik topping the list and other heavy hitters like Owsla darling Mija, the mysterious masked Claptone, Melbourne-based producer, Opiou, and R&B/House slinger Sweater Beats joining him near the top of the roster. While the lineup is something to marvel on its own, the festival aesthetic is what makes this one stand out above the rest. With fire dancers, aerialists, costumed characters and BMX stunt bikers rounding out the space, which also welcomes artists, artisan vendors and gourmet chefs to hawk their best wares in an other worldly setting.
Whether you’re a fan of top-tier electronic musicians, performance art or simply escaping your everyday reality, Elements is your next level ticket for an out of this world experience. Tickets are still on sale HERE starting at $50.
