The William Vale Hotel (aka the towering hunk of concrete on Wythe Ave that resembles an evil lair from a superhero movie) is set to open in April of this year. From Curbed NY:
When complete the hotel will feature 183 rooms, and 40,000 square feet of retail and office space located on the lower levels of this unique and quirky building. There’s also a 15,000 square-foot rooftop public park, and a swimming pool on the third floor. Gunn Landscape Architecture is working on the park, and the developer chose Albo Liberis to design the hotel.
Ok maybe a movie villain wouldn’t have a public park on their roof but Batman and I will be watching carefully. Check out renderings of the hotel at thewilliamvale.com.
