Williamsburg institution Moto has closed

This closing is going to break a lot of hearts. Moto was an institution — unpretentious, beautifully designed and one of the few remaining “neighborhood” places to survive the rent hikes. After being in operation for 14 years, they closed quietly on July 30. We can take solace in knowing they have a new venture scheduled for the fall:

Thank you for all your patronage and support over the last 14 years. We look forward to welcoming you back in the fall to our new venture

  1. Damn. Johnny’s still the man. Be sure to check out St. Mazie…
