Mister Halloween Night and the Masonic Temple of Doom
When: Friday, October 31st
Where: Brooklyn Masonic Temple; 317 Clermont Avenue, Fort Greene, Brooklyn
What: From Resident Advisor: “And so we give you: Mister Halloween Night and The Masonic Temple Of Doom, a party in which you get to unironically wear a fedora and participate in the ancient ritual of dancing in the middle of a temple. Dr. Jones will prepare the room with finds from past archaeological digs, and Eamon Harkin and Justin Carter will practice the art of quickly exchanging records of equal weight from turntables (so as to avoid setting off booby traps). Advance tickets are a good idea, and costumes are required. Don’t feel limited to snake costumes, but do choose wisely. Think grail knights, ghosts from the ark of the covenant, CGI aliens and Viennese vixens. Don’t dress up as a nazi.
