The NEW location for the first ever US Time Warp Festival has been revealed. Originally scheduled to take place in the Bronx’s historic Kingsbridge Armory over Thanksgiving weekend, organizers were forced to find a new location after failing to secure permits. Fortunately, it looks like they may found an ever better option to bring The Cave, a floor-to-ceiling visual installation designed after that of an arctic cave. But I’ll stop blabbing. You can catch the world’s best techno acts at the 39th St. Pier, located close to the D, N and R 36th St. train stop in Brooklyn.
Lineup by Day has also been announced
Two-Day and Single Day tickets are still available and can be purchased HERE.
Time Warp organizers have run into a few snags concerning location for the festival. Due to the The Kingsbridge Armory building’s status as a historic building, permits were not obtained for the special event which is still scheduled to take play the weekend following Thanksgiving, 11/28-11/29. Organizers assure that the new location is 15-minutes from Manhattan and possesses the same character as the initial location.
Additionally, some new artists have been added with the announcement of the Phase 2 lineup: Joseph Capriati, Josh Wink, Luciano, The Martinez Brothers and the US debut of Dubfire: live HYBRID.
The longest running underground techno festival will be invading the The Kingsbridge Armory in the Bronx this Thanksgiving Day weekend, November 28-29th. The “20 Years Tour” features the first ever US lineup stacked with high-profile techno pioneers, and more to be announced.
Since 1994, Time Warp has expanded across Europe and has attracted thousands of underground techno and electronic fans. Earlier this summer, Time Warp made it’s South American debut in Buenos Aries, Argentina. The NYC dates will mark Time Warp’s North American launch. LET’S.DO.THIS.
