In honor of the 50th anniversary of the Empire State Building’s Master FM Antenna, there will be a light show starting at 7pm Thursday. What better way to commemorate this occasion than to sync up the light show with Steely Dan’s classic 1978 album FM (No Static At All)? You can tune in by going to WCBS-FM 101.1 on your radio dial, or (for those of us who don’t have time for our parents to mail us our old Walkman) by downloading an app like Radio.com. The Williamsburg waterfront is one of the recommended viewing locations according to Time Out New York, as well as really anywhere you can find a clear view of the Empire State Building.
