Badges are now on sale, though none of the music acts have been announced. Last year’s festival highlights included Brian Wilson, Wolf Parade, Diarrhea Planet, King Khan, Psychic Ills, Priests and more.
Dubbed “a compact and intensely Brooklyn counterpoint to South by Southwest” by The New York Times, Northside Festival returns for its ninth year June 7-11, 2017 in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
On January 19th, badge sales begin at 9am, with flash sale prices in effect for 24 hours. That means $70 for Music badges, $249 for Innovation badges, and $299 for a Premium badge granting entry to both Music and Innovation events (subject to venue capacity). Following the flash sale, Early Bird prices will begin at a discount off their full rate.
Northside will transform North Brooklyn into an urban festival that spans across Williamsburg, Greenpoint and Bushwick, encompassing a constellation of venues – small clubs, outdoor spaces like McCarren Park, boutique hotels, bars and more. The three main components to the festival are its music festival, an Innovation tech conference and Williamsburg Walks, an arts festival that shuts down WIlliamsburg main Bedford Avenue thoroughfare.
The festival could be even more significant this year if CMJ is cancelled, as it was in 2016.
