I hope everyone made the most of the long weekend (if indeed you had Monday off) and the perplexing yet glorious weather that came with it. No time for chit-chat, here’s some help for you to plan your weekends.
The 35th annual CMJ Music Marathon – aka everyone’s best chance to burn through their remaining sick days by year’s end – took place last week and as always, the FREEwilliamsburg team was on hand taking in the sights and, more importantly, the sounds of the five day festival. Here’s what we took away from it all, aside from raging head colds.
Good news everyone, NASA just discovered Keplar-452b, a bigger, older cousin to Earth, I can’t wait for the tripadvisor reviews. A little closer to home, so far this week we’ve talked craft beer pubs, smelly Greenpoint, and the Forecastle music festival, and some of the FW music team will be heading out to a ballgame. Well, it seems like a good excuse to drink outside. In any case, the weekend is going to be scorchio, so once again, stay hydrated, remember sunscreen, and avoid direct sunlight by drinking beer indoors when the opportunity presents itself.
