The party hits Bushwick this weekend at the Onderdonk House. From Gothamist:

Enjoy a host of bands, great food, and beer at the two-day Out In The Streets Fest, which will take over the stately grounds of Ridgewood/Bushwick’s Onderdonk House with multiple live stages. Local legends So So Glos are topping the bill, along with Frankie Rose, Potty Mouth, Beverly and more. The artisan-style Ridgewood Market will be at the festival, too, giving you plenty of morning shopping options before the music kicks off each day.

Beverly – “Honey Do”

beverly

We’ve been enjoying the new single from Frankie Rose’s band Beverly.  We were underwhelmed by her follow-up to Interstallar, Herein Wild so “Honey Do” is especially refreshing. The debut from Beverly, Careers, is out July 1 on Kanine. You can see them at Baby’s All Right for their record release party on June 28.

Watch ‘Honey Do’ below. [Read more…]

Brooklyn Night Bazaar’s grand opening weekend to feature Spank Rock and Frankie Rose

Frankie Rose

It’s sure to be a clusterfuck, but could be a good way to get a head-start on Xmas shopping while hearing some music:

Starting November 1st, we’re setting roots in a 24,000 square foot warehouse in Greenpoint every Friday and Saturday night. As usual, the Bazaar will bring together more than 100 of New York City’s most creative independent vendors, musicians, chefs, artists, and breweries. Entry is FREE.

Our grand opening weekend has some OUTSTANDING music. Bad Blood Records and Bunce are presenting Friday night’s lineup – Spank Rock and Dope Body! Then on Saturday night Frankie Rose, Mahogany, Monogold and Heavenly Beat are all performing.

The Bazaar will feature several activity spaces. Our 9 hole black-light mini golf course was designed by NBNY and the Fabricators Guild. A table tennis room is being housed within the warehouse’s giant freezer with immersive artwork by Brazillian artist SLIKS. Thanks PUMA for making our ping pong room come to life.

Previously: Brooklyn Night Bazaar with shopping, mini golf, rock climbing, Pok Pok & more coming year-round to Greenpoint
