NYC clothing brand Supreme opened their first store in NYC on Lafayette Street in back 1994, now their second NYC area store will be in Williamsburg at 152 Grand street (between Bedford and Berry). From Hypebeast:
Similar to the skate brand’s Los Angeles location, the new store also features a bowl at the back, reserved exclusively for friends and family of the label. The store is decorated with spots of Mark Gonzales artwork as well as the other fixtures you normally find in other Supreme locations, including the skate deck wall and railings for apparel. Finally, as with all of the previous store openings from the brand, we will expect to see a new box logo created for the launch.
The store opens this Thursday, October 5th and will be managed by NYC pro skateboarder Jefferson Pang.
In 1994 I was blessed to walk into the doors of Supreme on Lafayette on the grand opening day and met the founder and creator of this incredible brand and movement. 20+ years later I’m proud to be at the helm of their newest location in my home borough of Brooklyn! Don’t get it twisted, I’ve been here since the 70s. #ThankyouSkateboarding #ThankyouJames @supremenewyork #Brooklyn
