Severed alligator limbs appear in Williamsburg

gator

Uhhh what? According to The Daily News loose alligator limbs have been discovered on North 10th street. From NY Daily News:

They appear to be alligator limbs, said “Jungle Bob” Smith, owner of Jungle Bob’s Reptile World in Centereach, L.I. The size of the legs indicate the gator would have been about two to three feet long, he said, a small one that would only get bigger. Smith says people who own the reptiles, which are illegal to own without a permit in the state of New York, sometimes abandon them once the animals get too large for their enclosures. Several loose alligators were found across Long Island during the last year

Jungle Bob‘ Smith! I’ve never heard of you before, but I love you so much. I want you to have your own show where you wander around Williamsburg and explain things to us.

Also, if you ever feel the need to complain about Williamsburg take note of this quote from Vietnam veteran Ricardo Rodrigo:

“Twenty years ago, there used to be dead bodies all along the water,” he said. “This is nothing.”
