September is the end of summer,
the time to stop whiling away our days and get all of our kicks
in before responsibilities and bad weather set in. This is the
time when galleries reopen, CMJ comes to town, and clubs begin
enticing us to come back in from the sun to listen to music.
There are a lot of bands in New York City, but we've picked
out four of Brooklyn's own that we think you should check out.
Champale, Grand Mal, Orlo Billingsly, and Les Savy Fav are a
good place to start the season. Free Williamsburg asked each
a few questions about being a band in Brooklyn and we've posted
a song from each band for you to have a listen to. |
