FINALLY, SOME FRESH AIR! Now don’t get me wrong, we frequented Output and Avant Gardner all winter, but it will be nice to finally blow the lid off these night clubs and enjoy some time in the open air. Our anticipation of sunnier days is at an all time high following summer lineup announcements for the aforementioned’s outdoor counterparts, The Roof and The Brooklyn Mirage.
Fans of the world-renowned club at 74 Wythe St. will love what’s cooking on The Roof, Output’s sky-high party spot. Pair a perfect Manhattan skyline view with boozy slushies and a sensational lineup that includes the biggest names of house, techno and disco including Dubfire, Kerri Chandler, Francesca Lombardo and Thugfucker. The parties take place Friday after work, and from early afternoon til dusk on Saturdays and Sundays, giving you plenty of good reasons to get TF out of the house this season. In the past, Output has partnered with various local restaurants like Pokito and Pretty Southern to serve dope eats alongside fire beats. We know The Roof is ideal for pictures, but Output’s strict no photo policy still applies. You’ll have to get your snaps in at brunch, and and start making memories the old fashioned way. Grab tickets for The Roof’s kickoff featuring Ray Ayers HERE, and be sure to check out their full artist announcement below:
The Brooklyn Mirage dropped some exciting news this week as well. While we already knew that The Cityfox Experience would be calling the massive outdoor arena their home for the summer (GET TICKETS for the opening party on May 19th featuring ANNA, Serge Devant, Martin Buttrich and more), we were excited to see that a few of our favorite labels will be throwing showcase events at The Mirage as well. We are particularly pumped for Crew Love‘s bash which is sure to deliver the sun-drenched house and disco sounds we know and love. While lineups for specific parties haven’t been announced just yet, we fully expected to come across local favorites like Soul Clap, Wolf+Lamb and No Regular Play. Burner friends will dig the art car reveal at the Mayan Warrior event in early June, and Ibiza meets Brooklyn just in time for the 4th of July holiday when Bedouin‘s beloved SAGA returns to the borough. For those who prefer darker sounds, Dixon and Âme‘s INNERVISIONS party should hit the spot. Check out the full announcement below.
