Neko Case has confirmed that her new album, The Worse Things Get, the Harder I Fight, the Harder I Fight, the More I Love You will be released September 3 via ANTI-. The first single from the record is “Man”, which features M. Ward on guitar, and comes with some pretty terrific artwork… Other contributors to The Worse Things Get include Steve Turner (Mudhoney), Howe Gelb, and members of the New Pornographers, My Morning Jacket, Calexico, Los Lobos and Visqueen. The album features eleven original songs plus a cover of Nico’s 1970 song “Afraid”.
