Drum and Bass and dumplings.
That’s what’s up tomorrow when popular Belgian DJ/Producer/Musician, Boris Daenen aka Netsky, takes over 88 Palace, a Dim Sum hotspot turned underground nightclub, in Chinatown. Organized in collaboration with the folks at Mean Red, Good Peoples and Dark Disco, this is guaranteed to be quite the unique event, with a stellar lineup to match. Dark Disco Presents: Netsky and Chill Tour brings drum and bass infused, yet genre bending beats, to 88 East Broadway. “I’m inviting some really good friends to make every night [of the tour] one you’ll never forget,” Netsky says. “I don’t just want to focus on one genre during this tour, I want to create an atmosphere where we can play the whole spectrum of electronic music.” For tomorrow’s date, he will be joined by New York-based artists Dave Shichman, Subset, as well as UK vocalist, MC Script.
Netsky has been touring worldwide for the last several years, including a fabulous LIVE performance at last year’s Mysteryland USA festival in Bethel Woods, NY. 2016 we mark the much anticipated release of his third studio album, out on Sony’s Ultra Records. His recent hit, Rio, is the official song of Belgium’s National Soccer Team.
In the meantime, snag tickets to his show. And save some room for congee.
