Checking out all of these amazing December show announcements reminds me that living in NYC is truly the gift that keeps on giving. With so many great concerts under the imaginary Christmas tree, it’s hard to decide which ones to include in your schedule. That’s okay! I’ve put my thought into it, and after all that’s what really counts.

I’m wrapping up my top picks and gifting them to you in the form of this blog. Sometimes the things you didn’t know you wanted are exactly what you need. These shows are sure to get you amped full of holiday cheer, so start flinging coin because these concert tickets aren’t going to last  long.

Flight Facilities, Webster Hall, Thursday, December 4th, Doors 7:00 PM – Join Australian DJ duo Flight Facilities on their north American tour in support of their debut album Down to Earth, which came out earlier this fall. You may know them from their hit single Crave You, but that was just the beginning of what looks like a very fruitful electronic career. Get TICKETS HERE.

James “DFA” Murphy vs Tim “PYT” Sweeney with Mike Simonetti, Output, Thursday, December 11th, Doors 11 PM – Get ready for a full-blown NYC lovefest when former LCD Soundsystem frontman and King of Williamsburg, James Murphy joins house DJ and Beats in Space host Tim Sweeney for a hell of an all-nighter. Even better still, the two will be joined with legendary Brooklyn party DJ Mike Simonetti, who has a long list of NYC club residencies and underground attached to his name. This bro-out is Williamsburg-approved. Get TICKETS HERE.

Robert DeLong, Rough Trade, Friday, December 12th, Doors 8:oo PM – Touring in support of his 2014 EP The Long Way Down, one-man electronic band Robert DeLong returns to Rough Trade for what’s sure to be one of the most creative and energetic sets you see all year. Watch DeLong use everything from Wii-motes and hand cranks to create looped soundscapes that would have you swearing that was more than just one insanely talented dude on stage. Get TICKETS HERE.

Flosstradamus, Terminal 5, Friday December 12th and Saturday December 13th, Doors 7:00 PM – Become part of the HDYNATION when you attend one of Floss’s upcoming shows at Terminal 5. Offering a unique blend of trap and hip-hop, the DJ duo behind Flosstradamus are always reminding their audiences that they are hear to bridge the gap between EDM and Hip-Hop. Mosh pits encouraged.
