You’ll meet the people behind these artisanal businesses, learn about their crafts, and of course, taste the final products. You’ll also learn about the history of beer, wine, and liquor both overall and specifically in the city. Learn all of that and more while you sip delicious drinks and get a behind the scenes look at these amazing local businesses.
Also, on Sunday don’t miss Rocktoberfest:
Come down and help put an American spin on Oktoberfest with Rocktoberfest at The Richardson on October 7. All Brooklyn Brewery beers will be $5, and each beer will come with a brat from The Meathook (while supplies last). The event will also feature Brooklyn Brewer Al Duvall playing 1920’s banjo punk rock at 3pm, followed by a very special bourbon barrel ghost bottle tasting with Brewmaster Garrett Oliver and his brewers. This is one event you can’t miss. Prost!
Feeling Political, drink to reelect Obama at Four More Beers: Tasting and Fundraiser for the Status Quo:
You want to give a few dollars to the Obama reelection campaign, but something is holding you back and you aren’t exactly sure what it is. Well, would a specially curated four-beer sampler change your mind? The folks at Burnside want you to drink, but they also want to give 80% of the profits from their great beer selection to Obama staying in the White House when you walk up to the bar and say “Four more beers!” Drink, and pitch in a few bucks to Barry having a second term.
