A 22nd-floor rooftop bar with sweeping views of New York City atop The William Vale. An elevated menu of bar snacks inspired by street food pairs with a list of handcrafted classic cocktails, rare spirits, beer, and wine in a breathtaking and sophisticated space.

NY Times says:

As the chef Andrew Carmellini prepares to open a southern Italian restaurant, Leuca, this fall in the William Vale hotel in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Westlight is a sort of appetizer. A sprawl of outdoor terraces on the 22nd floor with magnificent views, it’s the first Brooklyn venture for him and his partners in the NoHo Hospitality Group. There are cushy golden sofas and an indoor bar area with glass walls. On the roof above is Upstairs at Westlight, with more seats and a faux lawn. Anne Robinson is in charge of the drinks. For both, Mr. Carmellini plans snacky, global fare like spring rolls with sweet peas and kale (“We’re in Brooklyn,” he said), octopus skewers and a burger with mushroom and onion jam.
