Time Out says:

Though Williamsburg’s Glasslands Gallery is situated in what was once a rather industrial area of Brooklyn, the perpetual gentrification of that particular neighborhood has established Glasslands as an important venue for the heat-seeking hipster set. Capacity’s low (about 275) and the sound sucks, but if you’re searching out the buzziest bands on Brooklyn’s uniquely prolific scene, odds are you’ll make a stop there quite soon.

Blackbook Mag says:

Underground art and performance space in the shadow of the old Domino Sugar factory. Bands you’re not cool enough to have heard of, DJs stoking sweaty dance parties. Electro-synthpop platters, album releases, benefits. DIY or die aesthetic evident in grungy, über-arty digs. Full-service bar takes credit cards, keeping things one full notch above a squat. Come let your facial hair down, South Williamsburg style.
