Lights On Lacks Sunshine, And We Like It

In case you missed San Diego-based Lights On in New York these last few weeks, here’s a little video of their first single, “We Live Underground”, to hold you over until the return of a left coast group that boasts a serious nomenclature– a taste of post punk, surf, psych, new wave, indie, etc. This is, what I imagine, Depeche Mode would’ve sounded like if they grew up on the sunny side of the globe.

Lights On debut album, Here Comes The Ocean, is out now and you should snatch it up quick. If you need more convincing, just take a listen to “Red Lights Flashing” before you head out for the night and you’ll be sold, we promise.
