The L train went down just in time for the morning rush cutting off service between Brooklyn and Manhattan. Riders are reporting a train filled with smoke near the 1st avenue stop, but smoke can also be seen all the way to the Bedford Ave. stop. This comes after many morning commute issues with the L train this summer.
#ServiceAlert: b/d no L b/t Lorimer St & 1 Av & b/d shuttle service b/t 1 Av & 8 Av, due to FDNY activity at Bedford Av.

L train mayhem. That car was definitely full of smoke yet people got on anyway. 😳Where there is smoke, there's fire. I'm making a u-turn.
