Brooklyn is always packed with things to do on Halloween, but this year it seems like there’s even more going on than usual. We’ve already told you about all the scary films you can see in Williamsburg, Greenpoint and Bushwick. We’re excited to see The Rocky Horror Picture Show at McCarren Park Pool on Saturday!
Here are a few more options between now and October 31:
Battles Playing Elsewhere Grand Opening Party (Halloween Night) – We were excited about this one even before we knew the line-up. Elsewhere is the new venue from the people behind Glasslands (RIP) and they’ve chosen Halloween night to throw their opening party. Cakes Da Killa, Combo Chimbita, Future Punx, and Alex Pasternak are also performing. Tickets are on sale now.
BangOn!NYC Presents Warehouse of Horrors (Secret East Williamsburg Warehouse / Saturday, October 28th) – The beloved party animals of BangOn!NYC are back again with their spooky annual shindig. This year’s edition of Warehouse of Horrors boasts an all-star lineup of local and international talent, including a rare headlining performance from dance music legend, Fatboy Slim. This comes in addition to a tempting array of other tricks and treats including Burning Man style art cars, costumed dancers, high-flying aerialists, a haunted house, silent disco, and much more. Don’t get ghosted! Tickets to this soul-shaking soiree are flying faster than ever before. Get tickets HERE.
The World/Inferno Friendship Society 20th Annual Celebration of Hallowmas (Warsaw, Halloween Night) – We can’t believe they’ve been doing this for 20 years! If you’ve never seen them, this is the year because they’re a blast live. Playing with O’Death and Lowdown Brass Band. More Here.
Rubulad Presents Boo! (Secret Bushwick Warehouse / Saturday, October 28th) – Another Halloween tradition is the Rubulad party with Les Sans Culettes. RSVP [email protected] for the Bushwick address. MORE HERE
Horror Filmmaker Fabio Frizzi at Music Hall of Williamsburg (Sunday October 29 & Monday October 30) – The director of Zombie Flesh Eaters and The Beyond performs new soundtracks to his classic films: “We are used to having theatrical cuts and director’s cuts, but nobody ever dared to conceive and perform a movie version following the musician’s point of view. A new score for a cult classic, realized in a more modern way, almost in the Hollywood style, with very few moments of silence but with great respect for its original identity…Presented in two distinct versions: one at full throttle empowered by a 51-piece symphonic orchestra and another energized by the prog rock strength derived from the orchestration for the Frizzi 2 Fulci band, the seven top performers of the Mastro’s F2F band.” Tickets HERE.
Circoloco Halloween DC-10 (Undisclosed Brooklyn Venue / Friday, October 27th – Saturday, October 28th) – Teksupport is teaming up with Ibiza’s famed party brand Circoloco to haunt Brooklyn over Halloween weekend. Featuring techno titans like The Martinez Brothers, Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, Damien Lazarus and more, this slamming two-day event is sure to wake the dead. The elusive location is currently undisclosed. Ticket holders will be alerted via e-mail prior to 10/27. Snag individual tickets and weekend passes HERE.
