Exploding In Sound's "Thank You For Being A Friend" extended weekend

Brooklyn-based record label Exploding In Sound offer a veritable oasis of talent on their roster, and they want to say “thank you for being a friend” in the form of a series of shows in New York and Boston this week. Details are below the jump along with ticket links.

August 20 at Baby’s All Right
Porches, Pile, Grass Is Green, Two Inch Astronaut and Washer

August 21 at Palisades
Krill, Big Ups, “Unholy Strength”, Stove and Palm



August 24 at Silent Barn
Baked, Zula, Flagland, Gnarwhal, Fond Han

Two Exploding In Sound bands are playing at the Gramercy Theatre tonight; Palehound and LVL Up are on a bill that also features Basement and Adventures. LVL Up just released a new 7″ single a couple of weeks ago, which you can stream below.

If you fancy a roadtrip, details of the three Boston shows are as follows:

August 22 at The Sinclair
Krill, Big Ups, “Unholy Strength”, Stove, LVL Up and Palehound

August 23 at O’Brien’s Pub (Matinee)
Vundabar, Zula, Washer, Swings, Lady Bones and Great Deceivers

August 23 at Great Scott
Pile, Kal Marks, Gnarwhal, Leapling and Bunny’s A Swine
