FESTIVAL SEASON IS FINALLY HERE, and pre-game brunch plans have never been easier to make! In celebration of this first ever “Brunch Program”, The Governors Ball Music and Arts Festival is gearing up and cracking eggs on all kinds of goodies this weekend. Savory whites, runny yolks… we honestly can’t think of a better reason to get to Randall’s Island bright and early.
From 12 PM to 3 PM on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, select vendors will be serving up brunch-centric menu items. King David Tacos will offer Austin-style breakfast tacos during these limited hours, and San Matteo will slice bubbling Cacio e Peppe pizzas topped with pancetta, caciocavallo cheese, black pepper and a cracked egg, all scorched to perfection in their wood fire oven. Damn, that sounds lit. Of course, if sweets are more your jam, you’ll want to swing by the Best Kept Secret (for attendees who are 21+) to indulge in Jameson coffee cocktails and donut skewers. Want something you can easily bring with you to the main stage to see Dreamers or Calpurnia? The new GovBall Bodega will have an assortment of authentic NY bagels and cream cheeses every morning.
Pretty dope right? Now you don’t have to choose between brunch plans and early sets from Deal Casino, Amber Mark, Elohim, Aaron Rye and more… GovBallNYC has you covered. Of course, vendors will be there all day to enrich your lunch and dinner plans too. You can check out the full food lineup here.
As for beverages, be sure to show your support for the Aperol Spritz (sorry, NYTimes, it IS a good drink) by kicking back at the relaxing Aperol Spritz Italian Social Club, or sip on a Bud Light Lemon Tea (we’ve heard you MUST try at least one). These will go down super smooth during one of the Bud Light Dive Bar Sessions, taking place on the beer company’s branded side stage.
Of course, GovBallNYC has added all kinds of new activities where attendees can take photos, explore and indulge. There’s even a Pride Month Celebration on-site this year. Check out all of the new digs here.
Don’t have tickets yet? No problemo, friends! You can still score weekend and single day passes by visiting GovBallNYC’s official website, but they are going fast. See you there!
