It’s a new season in New York – one of my favorites, in fact. Who doesn’t love fall in Brooklyn? It’s the perfect time to pig out on pumpkin flavored everything and snuggle up in chunky sweaters. Everyone seems to be brushing up on their baking skills, and friends are super down to meet for hot cups of afternoon coffee, or cinnamon-spiked cocktails all the same. And then there’s squash. I always forget how many types of squash exist until September rolls around. But I digress . . .
Fall is here, people. And while that means that coatcheck season is imminent, it also means that going out becomes a lot more precious. Because I tend to shift into hibernation mode around this time of year, I truly appreciate those big nights out that I actually plan. After all, summer makes clubbing so easy. Winter outings take a bit more work, but when the party pops off, it’s that much sweeter.
You’re going to need a jacket this weekend, but don’t let that deter you from missing out on the best dance parties our borough has to offer.
