Friday marks the first day of fall! Holy hell, the season went by fast. But you know what they say – time flies when you’re having fun! And just because you had to say goodbye to summer Fridays, it doesn’t mean that the good times can’t keep rolling. Don’t believe me? Check out this week’s Club Crush picks. Whether you’re looking for a slice of Paradise or an excuse to party on the cheap, we’ve got you covered.
.) Figure & Megaladon @ Analog BKNY (Friday, September 21st) – We’re glad someone in NYC is picking up the bass slack. Ever since Webster Hall closed its doors last summer, we’ve been left with an itch that no one seems to be scratching. On Friday, we get some sweet relief! That’s when dubstep icons Figure and Megaladon will make the foundations of Industry City shake. Damn, that feels good. Get tickets HERE.
.) Octo Octa All Night @ Nowadays (Friday, September 21st) – Loal diva Octo Octa brings her diverse sounds to the Bushwick/Ridgewood border this Friday for special extended hometown set. Her most recent productions on Soundcloud skew toward drum&bass so we’re not quite sure what to expect, but we know it’s likely to be fuego. Get tickets HERE.
.) Corona Electric Beach Presents: Kayzo @ The Well (Saturday, September 22nd) – The best things in life are free, and we’ve got proof because hardstyle producer Kayzo is making a pitstop in Brooklyn on the Road to EDC Orlando. This Saturday afternoon The Well will overflow with his driving beats during another “on the house” installment of the Corona Electric Beach series. Summer can’t last forever but at least we can play pretend. Get tickets HERE.
.) Jamie Jones Presents: Paradise New York @ The Brooklyn Mirage (Saturday, September 22nd) – One of our favorite parties returns to Bushwick this Saturday when international tastemaker Jamie Jones brings an all-star lineup of house and techno artists to the breathtaking palace that is The Mirage. Expect two stages, immersive visuals and stellar vibes at this 10+ hour marathon which will feature an all vinyl stage and rare b2b’s from some of the industry’s biggest names including Art Department, Omar S, Carlo Lio B2B Nathan Barato and many more. We’re giving away tickets! Or you can buy them HERE.
.) Let the Music Play II feat. Special Guest Frankie Bones (NO COVER) @ Output (Monday, September 24th) – Party on a Monday? Sure, why not! Rave pioneer Frankie Bones would insist. He’ll be playing Output’s main room, bringing with him a repertoire that few can boast. So pay your respects to the original techno and breakbeat DJ, the legend, the artst who made America’s dance scene what it is today. Just remember to drink some water and take some aspirin before your head hits the pillow when all’s said and done. There’s no cover, which means no excuses.
