Things have been a little chaotic lately, right? Harvey, Irma and Trump have been stirring up some serious shit, and emotions are running high. While we haven’t had to face the hurricanes head on, per se, we’re still feeling the effects. So let’s take a moment to be thankful for what we have this week: Good weather, good health, good friends, and well, if we’re making a list, good shows. Pick yourself back up with one of our Club Crush picks.
1.) Mat Zo (House Set) @ Output (Friday, September 15) – At the start of his Self Assemble tour, Mat Zo took on the personal challenge of playing different genres at each stop. Output’s funktion one sound system will be the perfect vehicle for this funky evening of classic throwbacks and nu grooves. Check out the house set he played at The Mid in Chicago earlier this summer, and get tickets HERE.
2.) House of Love: RED @ House of Yes (Friday, September 15) – The color of sex and power takes center stage at this sinfully indulgent party featuring beats from HoY residents Nomi Ruiz B2B Eli Escobar. Wear your most daring crimson and rouge hues for fast entry. Get tickets HERE.
3.) The Meadows Music and Arts Festival @ CitiField (Friday, September 15 – 17) – Are you yearning for one more mega music festival experience before summer officially ends? 4.) GTA @ Schimanski NYC (Saturday, September 16) – It’s hard to slap a genre on a duo like GTA. From electro to trap to house, these Miami-based boys are among EDMs most versatile producers. They’ll be appearing at The Meadows on Sunday evening, but not before they make a splash in Brooklyn. GTA headlines Saturday’s official Meadows afterparty at Schimanski NYC.
