My fellow functional alcoholics: the fourth annual Brooklyn Pour craft beer tasting festival hits the old Williamsburg Savings Bank in Fort Greene on September 27:
Featuring over 100+ craft brews from New York and beyond, The Village Voice is proud to present our fourth annual curated Brooklyn Pour craft beer tasting event. The event will take place at the home of the original Williamsburg Savings Bank in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Over 1,000 craft beer aficionados will sample the best seasonal, micro and reserve brews from breweries located in the country with a pinpointed focus on the tri-state area.
Like most who attend this glorious event, I always make it my personal goal to sample every beer the humble curators offer; and, to my best recollection, have always accomplished said goal. And have always been in bed by 8 p.m afterwards. This year should be no different.
Pick up a ticket and join me in the debauchery. General admission tickets are just $55, which is all kinds of cheap if you consider how much unlimited craft beer you can drink in 3 hours. VIP tickets will set you back $85 per head, but you get an extra hour of drinking before the GA people get in. Lines can get sorta long at some stations, so the head start can be worth it. Here’s a list of participating breweries.
