Brooklyn Electronic Dance Round Up: Feb 7-9

The weekend’s just about here and it’s good news having suffered through this cold and wet week in Brooklyn. It’s just in time too as nightlife listings look well and stacked from Friday through to Sunday. Starting at Bossa Nova tonight, Mike Simonetti continues his Capricorn party and Egyptrixx returns to Glasslands for a rescheduled A/V performance. On Saturday, Vampire Weekend member, Chris Baio spins a disco heavy set with the Powerslugs crew at Cameo Gallery and leftfield techno artist Legowelt makes a rare appearance at Output for The Bunker. Wrapping up on Sunday, The “Polar Vortex” seeps into our neighborhood but this time in the form of  a full on showcase curated by Teengirl Fantasy including L-Vis 1990, Aurora Halal and more. So strap on those winter boots and bundle up, take the cold for only a brief trek before warming up on the dance floor.
