Brooklyn’s back in action this weekend with plentiful parties in the open air and beyond. This week brought some much needed relief from the extreme heat and it’s the perfect time to bounce around the neighborhood and take in the variety of venues. Starting tonight at Bossa Nova, JACK DEPT continues their residency with a Live modular synth performance from Mark Verbos. Nearby, at Bushwick’s Palisades Vancouver’s buzzworthy 1080p label presents a showcase with synth-pop producer CFCF who has just released an LP on their imprint. As Saturday’s sun brings new light, enjoy the day listening to German Dub Techno pioneer Moritz von Oswald as he plays a heady set al fresco in the PS1 plaza. Or maybe head deeper down the L line to the newly opened Brooklyn Mirage, where they’ll be showcasing a Live A/V performance from global Techno star Stephan Bodzin, alongside legends like Doc Martin and Danny Howells playing well into the morning. Lastly, CAMEO flies in a rare treat for the evening, mule musiq’s deep and discofied crate digging champion KZA from Japan who is a sure bet to finishing off your weekend with extra positive vibes.
