You can now add Brooklyn Cider House to the list of places to drink outside this summer. The lovely restaurant and bar has been open since December, serving up Basque-style cider. Now that the weather is warmer, their deck is open and they’ve introduced a new bar menu to celebrate the occassion. More about Brooklyn Cider House:
Among more than 80, and counting, hard cider producers in New York State, we are the first farm cidery in New York City to open an on-site restaurant, featuring cider-centric gastronomy. We offer a limited menu, perfectly paired with our ciders and made with timeless homespun methods to highlight simple, farm-fresh ingredients. We will also spearhead and house cider events, educational workshops, tastings, and harvest celebrations. We don’t just want to be a successful place of business. We hope to make Brooklyn Cider House a place of innovation, creativity, history, and community, and one day, to be a hallmark of Bushwick and Brooklyn, recognized for capturing the spirit of Brooklyn with something local, something crafted, something smart, and wildly natural.
The new menu looks great and features Savory Korean Pancakes, Tacos and a Bahn Mi Burger served with with carrot, cucumber, pickled vegetables, jalapeno and housemade lime-chili cilantro aioli.
