At least it’s not another coffee shop? On October 26th a bar called Bury the Hatchet that lets you compete in axe-throwing, will open on 67 West St. in Greenpoint right around the corner from The Brooklyn Barge. From Brooklyn Paper:
Sessions at Bury will cost $49 per person for two hours of hatchet hurling, and up to 10 people will be able to share a lane. An axe master will accompany each group, provide training, and make sure everything stays safe. The bar will also offer an axe-throwing league, with a cash prize for the winners, said Klotzkin.
The other spots in the Bury the Hatchet chain are “bring your own booze,” said Klotzkin, but the Brooklyn location has applied for a beer and wine license, which it hopes to receive by the middle of November.
