- Alt Esc presents Carp Theory (1030 Metropolitan Ave, East Williamsburg)
TRANSFER Gallery’s current exhibition Carp Theory features works by new media and digital experience artists Kyle Hittmeier, Viktor Timofeev, and Mohsen Hazrati. Immerse yourself in a thought-provoking video experience exploring self-defeat and victory, a game simulating self-portraiture like you’ve never seen before, and a cause-and-effect VR experience featuring roaches, colors, and crawling. The show is on view through June 30th, and TRANSFER Gallery is open to the public on Saturdays from 12-6PM.

- Deborah Oster Pannell presents Organic / Inorganic (195 Broadway, Floors 3-4, South Williamsburg)
The Yard: South Williamsburg, a new coworking space at 195 Broadway and Driggs Ave, debuts its first art exhibit in the space, Organic/Inorganic, featuring works by Diane Davis, Sui Park, and R&D (Diane Rosenblum and Joe Doyle). You’ll find free-floating, organic forms, vibrant paintings, and dreamy glass sculptures. The gallery at The Yard: South Williamsburg is open to the public Monday through Friday 9:30am-5:30pm and to members 24/7. The show begins July 1st.

- Figureworks presents Kaleidoscope Dreams (168 North 6th Street, Williamsburg)
Kaleidoscope Dreams features new works by Michael Sorgatz. Michael’s works capture the essence of the New York City streets and the vibrant people that fill them each day. While the representations of city-life are apparent, the impressionistic style that Michael implements paints an abstract, kaleidoscopic view emulating the city’s energy. Figureworks is open Saturday and Sunday from 1-6PM, and Kaleidoscope Dreams closes July 29th.
- The Journal Gallery presents Rose and Torey on Paper (106 N 1st St, Williamsburg)
Rose and Torey on Paper showcases paintings on paper by Kent-based painter Rose Wylie and Brooklyn-based painter Torey Thornton. The Journal Gallery is open 12-6PM Tuesday through Sunday, and Rose and Torey on Paper ends June 26th. Then, from July 3rd through August 12th, you can catch Michael Stipe’s INFINITY MIRROR.
- AG Gallery presents SWEET PARADISE (310 Grand St, Williamsburg)
SWEET PARADISE is a solo exhibition by Amit Greenberg, a visual artist and designer originally from Israel. An influential figure in the pop-art world, Amit’s recent works evoke a soft playfulness through simple, yet subtly rich representations of emotive characters. This exhibit opens on June 30th with an opening reception from 6-8PM. AG Gallery is open 7 days a week from 12-8PM.
- Kirstin Lamb presents Bouquet: A Flower Show (33 Nassau Ave, Floor 2, Williamsburg)
Bouquet: A Flower Show, features a collection of floral-themed paintings and crocheted textile art by a group of ten artists: Curator Kirstin Lamb, Kate Bae, Jenny Brown, Kim Darling, Jenn Dierdorf, Kelley Harwood, Danielle Krysa, Andrew Prayzner, Sarah Rowe, and Christian Ruiz Berman. The gallery at The Yard: Williamsburg is open to the public Monday through Friday 9:30am-5:30pm and to members 24/7. The show is ending June 22nd. Starting July 2nd, the gallery will show works by Greg Hopkins, with an opening reception on July 25th. Stay tuned for more information on the upcoming exhibit.
