Coming off a sold-out inaugural year in 2017, the Relix Live Music Conference returns now expanded to two full days of panels and discussions on subjects covering the whole gamut of the live music business.
Hosted at Brooklyn Bowl on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 8 and 9, the Relix Music Conference features a wide range of programming focused on the current state and future of music.
Recently announced panels and presentations cover live-streaming, talent buying, activism, and agenting, and feature a wide array of music industry veterans including: Ted Kartzman (YouTube and Google Play Music), Johnny Beach (Bowery Presents), and Darren Pfeffer (Madison Square Garden Company) to name a few.
The first night’s Keynote is a conversation with Don Was and David Fricke. Then, after a food and drink reception, Leftover Salmon will play a set including songs from their new album “Something Higher,” followed by a live game show spelling bee to benefit HeadCount featuring Andy Frasco and the U.N., with comedians Kyle Ayers, and Ahri Findling.
Conference tickets include both days of all-day programming, breakfast, complimentary drinks and snacks at happy hour, and the Leftover Salmon show and Spelling Bee. And the Official Relix Live Music Conference After Party with Bombino closes the conference on Wednesday, May 9.
