Matt and Kim played Fallon

Maybe Matt and Kim are a little too saccharine for some people. But there is something completely endearing and infectious about how much fun these two are always having and how much they are constantly smiling. So, as long as they are putting out positive vibes into the world, I am going to keep loving it. They dropped by Jimmy Fallon last night, climbed on top of their instruments, and brought their Sidewalks jam “Block After Block.”

Also, Kim left this note for Neil Patrick Harris, who will be appearing on the show tonight. Cute!

New CANT: “Answer”

Warby Parker at Bird

Online eyewear darling Warby Parker are known for their Tom-like approach to commerce (you buy a pair, they give a pair) and styles that appeal to the hip but sight-challenged among us. But buying glasses online, even at the excellent price point of $95 dollars, is a drag. Bird is fixing to remedying that with a party – Wednesday the 27th from 6pm to 9pm you can try on 165(!) styles while downing prosecco, nibbling on snacks, and musing on the DJing by Justine D. My only question – will the monocle be there?

Bon Iver Covered Björk and it is possibly the Best Thing Ever

As part of Bon Iver Day (A real thing! At least in Milwaukee), Justin Vernon and crew played a show of mostly jams from this year’s self-titled record. But throw into the mix a cover of Björk’s “Who Is It (Carry My Joy On The Left, Carry My Pain On The Right),” and something really magical is happening here.

Grab and MP3 of this track over at Stereogum.

Ugh. It’s hottt.

And, yeah, this post is a bit late. But let’s be serious. Stay home. It’s damn fucking gross out there.

But after you cool down, rest, hydrate, watch the entire first season of Game of Thrones (so awesome), and hang with your hobo friends camping out on your floor to mooch the A/C, venture out this weekend. Cuz the hydrants are a-flowin’ through Brooklyn and our borough is poppin’ hard!

Check out super fun BK Saturday along with the rest of our picks for the coming week:
